Merryl’s hospitality is was very touching, we felt that we know her for a long time, she was kind , generous and very welcoming to us.
Phil is obviously a great guy and multitalented and Merryl said most of the fabulous interior decoration was his personal taste and input.
Unfortunately due to our short stay we couldn’t talk to him much but he made us a very tasty breakfast along with pots of coffee and tea, promptly delivered to our rooms.
We also took a friend aling with us who came from Sydney , he was so impressed with the whole experience.
We are planning return back to the place as soon as we get our next chance and strongly recommend this place for any one who loves a victorian style grandeur.

We had a lovely night. Although we had planned on eating in, this wasn’t an option when... read more we arrived. No big deal, we drove down the road and purchased some prawns, which in hindsight sight, it was nice sitting on the verandah watching the sun go down, eating prawns and drinking bubbles.
If the people in the next room didn’t wake at 4.45am on a Sunday morning and turn the TV on and talk reasonably loudly for that time of the morning, everything would have been excellent!
Breakfast came at the allotted time. Again, nice to sit on the verandah and take our time. No rushing to leave early.

The decor is divine, furnished... read more and designed to resemble a victorian property sending you back in time to relax and unwind. Phil and Merryl are fantastic. Merryl gave us a lovely warm welcome telling us the history of the house and even a couple of treats from the sweets cart. We had a beautiful spacious room, very comfortable bed, a large veranda overlooking the river and a nice hot spa bath.

Breakfast was delicious, we will definitely be back longer than one night. The perfect place for a romantic getaway. Thank you.

I was so in love with the vintage furniture and really enjoyed the view of the garden and river, outside was so nice and pretty and looked after very well. Great attention to detail and a lot of thought put in for your stay at Bli Bli Riverside Retreat. From a beautiful welcome letter and flowers, to treats and a bar fridge that had the necessities, and it was all free. A hot breakfast each morning and it was beautifully cooked and well presented. We are very pleased with our experience and will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast and really think you won't regret giving it a try and staying here!
