A delicious breakfast of our choice was delivered to our room on a silver service trolley each day which we enjoyed on our veranda overlooking the neighbouring gardens and River. The hosts, Merryl and Phil are wonderful and provided lots of additional touches such as welcome chocolates and cakes available in the guest lounge throughout the day. We also arranged an afternoon tea at the House during our stay which was absolutely amazing and great value for money. Super place to stay - we hope to return. More

Everything from the warm friendly welcome from the hosts to the the exquisite rooms, beautiful gardens and delicious breakfasts. We were so taken with our first visit we booked almost the entire place for our second visit and brought a group of friends with us. Not only was it a perfect escape, everything was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Sadly, I did not get to meet Phil but Merryl was one of the kindest people I've ever met, and the complimentary snacks added so much to the stay! Overall, the perfect relaxing escape!

We had a lovely night. Although we had planned on eating in, this wasn’t an option when... read more we arrived. No big deal, we drove down the road and purchased some prawns, which in hindsight sight, it was nice sitting on the verandah watching the sun go down, eating prawns and drinking bubbles.
If the people in the next room didn’t wake at 4.45am on a Sunday morning and turn the TV on and talk reasonably loudly for that time of the morning, everything would have been excellent!
Breakfast came at the allotted time. Again, nice to sit on the verandah and take our time. No rushing to leave early.
We didn’t know what to expect prior to going, however we would definitely go back again…. More
