The convenience of the coffee machine, fridge and microwave in the room were supplemented by complimentary cakes, chocolates and other treats. Thank you for a wonderful stay where we were able to recharge in a quiet location with river views.

Was looking forward to in house dinner and breakfast, but dinner was off the menu due to health issues the lovely hostess had. The breakfast we ordered for the morning consisted of: crepes, fruit salad, bacon and fried tomatoes, yogurt, juice, pastries, tea and coffee. And was cooked and presented perfectly and delivered straight to our door. We ate out on the verandah overlooking the river, food was excellent and so was the view. Spent too much time in the spa, came out a little cooked, nothing a little rest on the comfy bed couldn't fix! Overall will definitely do again sooner rather than later, maybe even next anniversary. An absolutely beautiful location on the riverside adds additional joy to a fantastic stay. Wonderful morning breakfast brought to our room and the broader amenities were well beyond our expectation. Comfy warm bed, and room the amenities, large outside balcony and space are outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We have booked already for a future weekend stay and looking forward to it. Highly recommended.

I was met... read more on arrival by Merryl, and immediately felt so welcome. This truly is a guest house in the traditional sense. The owners, Phil and Merryl, have obviously put their heart and soul into developing this place, with charm and Victorian elegance in every feature. Check out their website for photos, I couldn’t do it justice but trying to describe it, but suffice to say that when you see it in person, you’ll agree that the atmosphere can’t be conveyed with a few pictures. I’d highly recommend it for couples seeking a romantic getaway, too. Absolutely delightful.

Strawberries and chocolate on arrival, a complimentary lolly and cake stand with tea and ground coffee, a cooked to order breakfast and more. The room with a four-poster bed as the focus was beautiful as was the entire house - tastefully decorated throughout and positioned on the riverbank.
Nothing more could be asked. We will go again and already have recommended it highly to friends and family.
