Merryl gave us a lovely warm welcome telling us the history of the house and even a couple of treats from the sweets cart. We had a beautiful spacious room, very comfortable bed, a large veranda overlooking the river and a nice hot spa bath.

Breakfast was delicious, we will definitely be back longer than one night. The perfect place for a romantic getaway. Thank you.

The cooked breakfasts served in the room were great, plus there was always plenty of extra treats and snacks available and coffee and tea was was on tap in the room and guest lounge. Merryl greeted us on arrival showing us around and pointing out all the features as well as recommendations for nearby dinner spots.
