It was a very pleasant surprise from start to finish, with unexpected thoughtful touches all throughout our stay. Our room was beautifully clean and the breakfast (which arrived at our door on time) was wonderful. The location is very convenient and we enjoyed exploring the grounds and new boardwalk along the river. The owners, Phil and Merryl, have obviously put their heart and soul into developing this place, with charm and Victorian elegance in every feature. Check out their website for photos, I couldn’t do it justice but trying to describe it, but suffice to say that when you see it in person, you’ll agree that the atmosphere can’t be conveyed with a few pictures.
