I was so in love with the vintage furniture and really enjoyed the view of the garden and river, outside was so nice and pretty and looked after very well. Great attention to detail and a lot of thought put in for your stay at Bli Bli Riverside Retreat. From a beautiful welcome letter and flowers, to treats and a bar fridge that had the necessities, and it was all free. A hot breakfast each morning and it was beautifully cooked and well presented. We are very pleased with our experience and will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast and really think you won't regret giving it a try and staying here! Rooms are tastefully furnished in Victorian style, lovely... read more antiques, breakfast on a trolley, silver service, spacious rooms, beautifully clean and lovely little touches of hospitality such as a stocked sweets trolley with cakes, biscuits and lollies. Breakfast was delicious, and very ample, with cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, and a choice of cooked. We were treated so very well.

We were given a tour of the retreat before being shown to our luxurious suite. We loved that we could roam around the house and enjoy the sweet trolley, coffee/tea and the pool room. We didn't have time to use the media room/home theatre but will use it next time. Our suite was absolutely beautiful! It was opulent and regal with a four post bed, double sofa, small kitchenette, slippers and robes, ensuite with double spa bath and separate shower and french doors that led onto our own private balcony with beautiful views. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne and strawberries before settling in for the night. The bed was very very comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. We handed in our breakfast choices the night before and received a text message in the morning to inform us that our breakfast trolley was ready and outside our door. The breakfast was beautifully prepared and very well cooked. We enjoyed a hot breakfast with fresh coffee and pastries. The only thing we regretted was only staying one night. Every tiny detail has been thought through: provided snacks and sneaky treats, to bath salts and all toiletries. It’s easy to just spend all your time in the room, relaxing in the deep spa tub or watching the sunset from the private balcony, hanging out on the super comfy couch by the fire or in the super comfy bed. Breakfast was first class and absolutely delicious too. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back for more luxurious time out. More

  We took time to read some the reviews as we normally book a motel for a getaway. This time our getaway was to take time out before our upcoming wedding.... read more We stayed one night, I wish it was two. From the moment we arrived we felt so comfortable and instantly felt relaxed.
We were given a tour of this beautiful home. Shown everything the home had to offer to make our stay memorable, including a beautiful lolly and sweets cart. We made a cup of tea and coffee and enjoyed the view on our balcony with some sweets. Delicious!

Upstairs was a billiards pool room with a little theatre room. We didn’t have time to enjoy this unfortunately, But if you find time it’s a must.

We went into our room and were taken aback with the old Victorian charm and the elegance of the furnishings. Just amazing.
The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Definitely did not want to get out of it that’s for sure.
We had breakfast served on a beautiful silver trolley left at our door on time. Breakfast was delicious and very well presented. Again it was a breakfast that was so well cooked I had to eat it all, as so much love went into cooking and serving it.
Water pressure in the shower was perfect. Always a must.
The fire place was a beautiful touch. We enjoyed a board game while sitting in front of it. We opted to order Uber eats and stay and enjoy our room.
We enjoyed a little walk around the gardens in the afternoon watched the sun go down from our balcony. The water views did not disappoint.
We are already planning another visit and we cannot wait.
This place is a must do.
So many little thoughtful extras. Little treats, bathrobes and slippers. All the quality extras that you don’t expect.
A hotel cannot compare to this and we are so glad we chose to stay here.

  Our flight was diverted due to bad weather and we were stranded with nowhere to stay. We had tried calling a number of places that either didn’t answer or couldn’t... read more help, but just after 10pm we got through to Phil and Merryl who offered a room waited up for us. They even drove us to the airport in the morning when our taxi got stuck behind flood waters so that we wouldn’t miss the rescheduled flight! On top of that, the bed was really comfy and the breakfast was tasty. Thank you so much!

The little touches like free snacks, chocolates and tea and coffee in your room and the trolley of help yourself to as many yummy cakes and lollies as you can eat in the lounge is irresistible.
We can absolutely recommend staying here and we will definitely be back.
