Breakfast was delicious, and very ample, with cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, and a choice of cooked. We were treated so very well.

I was so in love with the vintage furniture and really enjoyed the view of the garden and river, outside was so nice and pretty and looked after very well. Great attention to detail and a lot of thought put in for your stay at Bli Bli Riverside Retreat. From a beautiful welcome letter and flowers, to treats and a bar fridge that had the necessities, and it was all free. A hot breakfast each morning and it was beautifully cooked and well presented. We are very pleased with our experience and will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast and really think you won't regret giving it a try and staying here! It is ideally located between the beach, Buderim and the hinterland. Dining at night not far away, there are a wide selection of resturants to choose from. Come and treat yourself and someone special.

Plush hallways and other cosy sitting areas provide many options to relax and relish the experience whilst enjoying the coffee, tea, pastries and fudge supplied in abundance.
The included breakfast was scrumptious, ample and served with class.
Phil and Merryl were the consummate hosts and couldn't have done more to make our stay so enjoyable.
We can't recommend Bli Bli House enough and will definitely stay for longer next time!!

From start to finish, I felt so relaxed and pampered at the Bli Bli House. We stayed in the Heritage Suite, which is absolutely beautiful with its four-poster bed, fireplace and seating area, spa bathtub, and - most charmingly - its own veranda with seating for reading plus table and chairs for dining. We loved feeling tucked away in this beautiful room with its private outdoor space for the duration of our stay. Our hosts, Phil and Merryl, did everything they could to ensure a 5-star experience for us. Knowing it was a special birthday for me, they gave us a bottle of wine and brought us strawberries and chocolate later that evening. The following morning, our pre-ordered breakfast arrived on a cart outside our door with everything served in silver. It felt so lush, luxurious, and 'old world' as we ate our breakfast on the veranda. I have lived in Australia for ten years (I'm originally from the US) and have honestly never experienced this level of thoughtful hospitality and service at another establishment. I was met... read more on arrival by Merryl, and immediately felt so welcome. This truly is a guest house in the traditional sense. The owners, Phil and Merryl, have obviously put their heart and soul into developing this place, with charm and Victorian elegance in every feature. Check out their website for photos, I couldn’t do it justice but trying to describe it, but suffice to say that when you see it in person, you’ll agree that the atmosphere can’t be conveyed with a few pictures. I’d highly recommend it for couples seeking a romantic getaway, too. Absolutely delightful.

We loved the balcony overlooking the river and had the opportunity to sit back and read the papers with a coffee and some of the treats from the guest lounge. The down side was waking up at home the day after and no breakfast trolly was at our bedroom door.

Merryl and Phil have done a wonderful job restoring Bli Bli House and creating an ambience that takes you back to days gone by. Merryl was an attentive host and helped make our stay perfect. We took the opportunity to have dinner in the Chandelier Room which was a highlight of our stay. Breakfast in bed or on our private veranda was also included and it did not disappoint.Highly recommend a visit here if you want to be spoilt and pampered!
