From start to finish, I felt so relaxed and pampered at the Bli Bli House. We stayed in the Heritage Suite, which is absolutely beautiful with its four-poster bed, fireplace and seating area, spa bathtub, and - most charmingly - its own veranda with seating for reading plus table and chairs for dining. We loved feeling tucked away in this beautiful room with its private outdoor space for the duration of our stay. Our hosts, Phil and Merryl, did everything they could to ensure a 5-star experience for us. Knowing it was a special birthday for me, they gave us a bottle of wine and brought us strawberries and chocolate later that evening. The following morning, our pre-ordered breakfast arrived on a cart outside our door with everything served in silver. It felt so lush, luxurious, and 'old world' as we ate our breakfast on the veranda. I have lived in Australia for ten years (I'm originally from the US) and have honestly never experienced this level of thoughtful hospitality and service at another establishment. We enjoyed cheese and wine down on the river in the afternoon to watch the sunset, played chess in the yard. Enjoying the magnificence of this beautiful home.
Walking around the rooms freely - you’ll find a library - pool table and a media room with a projector. A candy trolly that’s always full. Many antiques and vintage paraphernalia throughout. The rooms are beautiful and the beds super comfy. Strawberries & Chocolate left as a surprise at our door. It’s all about the little touches.
There are plenty of places to dine close buy - Teppanyaki was a favourite.
Meryl and Phil are incredibly Host.

  Our flight was diverted due to bad weather and we were stranded with nowhere to stay. We had tried calling a number of places that either didn’t answer or couldn’t... read more help, but just after 10pm we got through to Phil and Merryl who offered a room waited up for us. They even drove us to the airport in the morning when our taxi got stuck behind flood waters so that we wouldn’t miss the rescheduled flight! On top of that, the bed was really comfy and the breakfast was tasty. Thank you so much!
