An absolutely beautiful location on the riverside adds additional joy to a fantastic stay. Wonderful morning breakfast brought to our room and the broader amenities were well beyond our expectation. Comfy warm bed, and room the amenities, large outside balcony and space are outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We have booked already for a future weekend stay and looking forward to it. Highly recommended.

Merryl gave us a lovely warm welcome telling us the history of the house and even a couple of treats from the sweets cart. We had a beautiful spacious room, very comfortable bed, a large veranda overlooking the river and a nice hot spa bath.

Breakfast was delicious, we will definitely be back longer than one night. The perfect place for a romantic getaway. Thank you.

The owners, Phil and Merryl, have obviously put their heart and soul into developing this place, with charm and Victorian elegance in every feature. Check out their website for photos, I couldn’t do it justice but trying to describe it, but suffice to say that when you see it in person, you’ll agree that the atmosphere can’t be conveyed with a few pictures. I’d highly recommend it for couples seeking a romantic getaway, too. Absolutely delightful.

Merryl is a very kind and welcoming host. Phil was away but I had corresponded with him by emails regarding meals previously to our stay and he was very accommodating.
We would definitely like to go back again. We felt very refreshed and relaxed even though we were only had a short stay.
