From start to finish, I felt so relaxed and pampered at the Bli Bli House. We stayed in the Heritage Suite, which is absolutely beautiful with its four-poster bed, fireplace and seating area, spa bathtub, and - most charmingly - its own veranda with seating for reading plus table and chairs for dining. We loved feeling tucked away in this beautiful room with its private outdoor space for the duration of our stay. Our hosts, Phil and Merryl, did everything they could to ensure a 5-star experience for us. Knowing it was a special birthday for me, they gave us a bottle of wine and brought us strawberries and chocolate later that evening. The following morning, our pre-ordered breakfast arrived on a cart outside our door with everything served in silver. It felt so lush, luxurious, and 'old world' as we ate our breakfast on the veranda. I have lived in Australia for ten years (I'm originally from the US) and have honestly never experienced this level of thoughtful hospitality and service at another establishment. Not only was it a perfect escape, everything was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Merryl gave us a lovely warm welcome telling us the history of the house and even a couple of treats from the sweets cart. We had a beautiful spacious room, very comfortable bed, a large veranda overlooking the river and a nice hot spa bath.

Breakfast was delicious, we will definitely be back longer than one night. The perfect place for a romantic getaway. Thank you.

Merryl’s hospitality is was very touching, we felt that we know her for a long time, she was kind , generous and very welcoming to us.
Phil is obviously a great guy and multitalented and Merryl said most of the fabulous interior decoration was his personal taste and input.
Unfortunately due to our short stay we couldn’t talk to him much but he made us a very tasty breakfast along with pots of coffee and tea, promptly delivered to our rooms.
We also took a friend aling with us who came from Sydney , he was so impressed with the whole experience.
We are planning return back to the place as soon as we get our next chance and strongly recommend this place for any one who loves a victorian style grandeur.

Come and treat yourself and someone special.
