The owners, Phil and Merryl, have obviously put their heart and soul into developing this place, with charm and Victorian elegance in every feature. Check out their website for photos, I couldn’t do it justice but trying to describe it, but suffice to say that when you see it in person, you’ll agree that the atmosphere can’t be conveyed with a few pictures. I’d highly recommend it for couples seeking a romantic getaway, too. Absolutely delightful.

With little surprises like a sweets trolley with decadent cupcakes, slices and a coffee machine all in the main lounge and a night cap of strawberries and chocolate left outside your door after you return from dinner. We had tried calling a number of places that either didn’t answer or couldn’t... read more help, but just after 10pm we got through to Phil and Merryl who offered a room waited up for us. They even drove us to the airport in the morning when our taxi got stuck behind flood waters so that we wouldn’t miss the rescheduled flight! On top of that, the bed was really comfy and the breakfast was tasty. Thank you so much!
