The cooked breakfasts served in the room were great, plus there was always plenty of extra treats and snacks available and coffee and tea was was on tap in the room and guest lounge. Merryl greeted us on arrival showing us around and pointing out all the features as well as recommendations for nearby dinner spots. We enjoyed a relaxing, quiet weekend in this well located Sunshine Coast gem. We will be back. Highly recommended. More

I was met... read more on arrival by Merryl, and immediately felt so welcome. This truly is a guest house in the traditional sense. The owners, Phil and Merryl, have obviously put their heart and soul into developing this place, with charm and Victorian elegance in every feature. Check out their website for photos, I couldn’t do it justice but trying to describe it, but suffice to say that when you see it in person, you’ll agree that the atmosphere can’t be conveyed with a few pictures. I’d highly recommend it for couples seeking a romantic getaway, too. Absolutely delightful.

The hot/cold breakfast included is scrumptious. Came home the first night to find dipping chocolates and chocolates on a beautiful tray outside our door . Everything you need in your rooms plus more in the communal area.

It was a very pleasant surprise from start to finish, with unexpected thoughtful touches all throughout our stay. Our room was beautifully clean and the breakfast (which arrived at our door on time) was wonderful. The location is very convenient and we enjoyed exploring the grounds and new boardwalk along the river.
