Every tiny detail has been thought through: provided snacks and sneaky treats, to bath salts and all toiletries. It’s easy to just spend all your time in the room, relaxing in the deep spa tub or watching the sunset from the private balcony, hanging out on the super comfy couch by the fire or in the super comfy bed. I was met... read more on arrival by Merryl, and immediately felt so welcome. This truly is a guest house in the traditional sense. The owners, Phil and Merryl, have obviously put their heart and soul into developing this place, with charm and Victorian elegance in every feature. Check out their website for photos, I couldn’t do it justice but trying to describe it, but suffice to say that when you see it in person, you’ll agree that the atmosphere can’t be conveyed with a few pictures. I’d highly recommend it for couples seeking a romantic getaway, too. Absolutely delightful.

Plush hallways and other cosy sitting areas provide many options to relax and relish the experience whilst enjoying the coffee, tea, pastries and fudge supplied in abundance.
The included breakfast was scrumptious, ample and served with class.
Phil and Merryl were the consummate hosts and couldn't have done more to make our stay so enjoyable.
We can't recommend Bli Bli House enough and will definitely stay for longer next time!!

We had a lovely night. Although we had planned on eating in, this wasn’t an option when... read more we arrived. No big deal, we drove down the road and purchased some prawns, which in hindsight sight, it was nice sitting on the verandah watching the sun go down, eating prawns and drinking bubbles.
If the people in the next room didn’t wake at 4.45am on a Sunday morning and turn the TV on and talk reasonably loudly for that time of the morning, everything would have been excellent!
Breakfast came at the allotted time. Again, nice to sit on the verandah and take our time. No rushing to leave early.
We didn’t know what to expect prior to going, however we would definitely go back again…. More

Despite the wet weather we had no real reason to leave our comfortable surrounds and enjoyed time looking at the views from our own private veranda. A great range to chose from on the breakfast menu which was delivered to our room each morning. The touching surprise was the silver plate with two forks, sliced strawberries, dipping chocolate sauce and two red heart chocolates waiting on our arrival back from dinner. The only disappointment was it didn't happen the second night when we were so looking forward to this special treat. A memorable stay for our 47th anniversary surrounded by delightful décor that certainly added charm and elegance. Worthy of giving this accommodation 5 stars. More

Not only was it a perfect escape, everything was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Sadly, I did not get to meet Phil but Merryl was one of the kindest people I've ever met, and the complimentary snacks added so much to the stay! Overall, the perfect relaxing escape!

Was looking forward to in house dinner and breakfast, but dinner was off the menu due to health issues the lovely hostess had. The breakfast we ordered for the morning consisted of: crepes, fruit salad, bacon and fried tomatoes, yogurt, juice, pastries, tea and coffee. And was cooked and presented perfectly and delivered straight to our door. We ate out on the verandah overlooking the river, food was excellent and so was the view. Spent too much time in the spa, came out a little cooked, nothing a little rest on the comfy bed couldn't fix! Overall will definitely do again sooner rather than later, maybe even next anniversary.
