  We took time to read some the reviews as we normally book a motel for a getaway. This time our getaway was to take time out before our upcoming wedding.... read more We stayed one night, I wish it was two. From the moment we arrived we felt so comfortable and instantly felt relaxed.
We were given a tour of this beautiful home. Shown everything the home had to offer to make our stay memorable, including a beautiful lolly and sweets cart. We made a cup of tea and coffee and enjoyed the view on our balcony with some sweets. Delicious!

Upstairs was a billiards pool room with a little theatre room. We didn’t have time to enjoy this unfortunately, But if you find time it’s a must.

We went into our room and were taken aback with the old Victorian charm and the elegance of the furnishings. Just amazing.
The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Definitely did not want to get out of it that’s for sure.
We had breakfast served on a beautiful silver trolley left at our door on time. Breakfast was delicious and very well presented. Again it was a breakfast that was so well cooked I had to eat it all, as so much love went into cooking and serving it.
Water pressure in the shower was perfect. Always a must.
The fire place was a beautiful touch. We enjoyed a board game while sitting in front of it. We opted to order Uber eats and stay and enjoy our room.
We enjoyed a little walk around the gardens in the afternoon watched the sun go down from our balcony. The water views did not disappoint.
We are already planning another visit and we cannot wait.
This place is a must do.
So many little thoughtful extras. Little treats, bathrobes and slippers. All the quality extras that you don’t expect.
A hotel cannot compare to this and we are so glad we chose to stay here.

Merryl’s hospitality is was very touching, we felt that we know her for a long time, she was kind , generous and very welcoming to us.
Phil is obviously a great guy and multitalented and Merryl said most of the fabulous interior decoration was his personal taste and input.
Unfortunately due to our short stay we couldn’t talk to him much but he made us a very tasty breakfast along with pots of coffee and tea, promptly delivered to our rooms.
We also took a friend aling with us who came from Sydney , he was so impressed with the whole experience.
We are planning return back to the place as soon as we get our next chance and strongly recommend this place for any one who loves a victorian style grandeur.

Merryl and Phil have done a wonderful job restoring Bli Bli House and creating an ambience that takes you back to days gone by. Merryl was an attentive host and helped make our stay perfect. We took the opportunity to have dinner in the Chandelier Room which was a highlight of our stay. Breakfast in bed or on our private veranda was also included and it did not disappoint.Highly recommend a visit here if you want to be spoilt and pampered!

We were given a tour of the retreat before being shown to our luxurious suite. We loved that we could roam around the house and enjoy the sweet trolley, coffee/tea and the pool room. We didn't have time to use the media room/home theatre but will use it next time. Our suite was absolutely beautiful! It was opulent and regal with a four post bed, double sofa, small kitchenette, slippers and robes, ensuite with double spa bath and separate shower and french doors that led onto our own private balcony with beautiful views. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne and strawberries before settling in for the night. The bed was very very comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. We handed in our breakfast choices the night before and received a text message in the morning to inform us that our breakfast trolley was ready and outside our door. The breakfast was beautifully prepared and very well cooked. We enjoyed a hot breakfast with fresh coffee and pastries. The only thing we regretted was only staying one night. They even drove us to the airport in the morning when our taxi got stuck behind flood waters so that we wouldn’t miss the rescheduled flight! Not only was it a perfect escape, everything was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Sadly, I did not get to meet Phil but Merryl was one of the kindest people I've ever met, and the complimentary snacks added so much to the stay! Overall, the perfect relaxing escape!

Everything from the warm friendly welcome from the hosts to the the exquisite rooms, beautiful gardens and delicious breakfasts. We were so taken with our first visit we booked almost the entire place for our second visit and brought a group of friends with us.
