  Chose this place for our anniversary, because it had a lovely victorian-esque theme that my partner loved. Definitely lived up to expectations, was quiet, private despite rooms being so close,... read more and service was excellent, and at our own volition. Was looking forward to in house dinner and breakfast, but dinner was off the menu due to health issues the lovely hostess had. The breakfast we ordered for the morning consisted of: crepes, fruit salad, bacon and fried tomatoes, yogurt, juice, pastries, tea and coffee. And was cooked and presented perfectly and delivered straight to our door. We ate out on the verandah overlooking the river, food was excellent and so was the view. Spent too much time in the spa, came out a little cooked, nothing a little rest on the comfy bed couldn't fix! Overall will definitely do again sooner rather than later, maybe even next anniversary. There are... read more snacks available to get anytime. The owners are very thoughtful and have provided entertainment such as a projector, pool table, movies. If you get the balcony room you have a great view of the creek. Just look at the photos I have uploaded and you will fall in love with the interior design. My only regret was not staying longer. Oh and the family that run this place are so friendly! The breakfast here was just delicious. Honestly, just stay here and you will absolutely love it!

Merryl and Phil have done a wonderful job restoring Bli Bli House and creating an ambience that takes you back to days gone by. Merryl was an attentive host and helped make our stay perfect. We took the opportunity to have dinner in the Chandelier Room which was a highlight of our stay. Breakfast in bed or on our private veranda was also included and it did not disappoint.Highly recommend a visit here if you want to be spoilt and pampered!

The furniture is all from the time period my heart craves the most and I could feel the antique energy embrace my soul as my core essence soaked up the ecstatic memory vibrations of past guests.
Meryll wheeling the sweets trolley past me, full of cakes, lollies, bikkies and brownies, felt like I had stepped into the world of Harry Potter's train to Hogwarts.
The Kengsington Suite, in which I stayed, was swoonworthy, complete with thick fluffy robes, a princess style 4 poster bed and a claw foot tub which I soaked in for hours.
The added extras seemed unending and I was overwhelmed by the generosity of gifts that came with the stay.
The most amazing being a world class breakfast..those scrambled eggs...mmmm.
I am truly grateful I synchronistically stumbled on Bli Bli House when I was needing this kind of nurturing.
The world felt...not as bad anymore after my stay.
I wish I could have stayed longer and next time I just may take myself up on the possibility.

Merryl’s hospitality is was very touching, we felt that we know her for a long time, she was kind , generous and very welcoming to us.
Phil is obviously a great guy and multitalented and Merryl said most of the fabulous interior decoration was his personal taste and input.
Unfortunately due to our short stay we couldn’t talk to him much but he made us a very tasty breakfast along with pots of coffee and tea, promptly delivered to our rooms.
We also took a friend aling with us who came from Sydney , he was so impressed with the whole experience.
We are planning return back to the place as soon as we get our next chance and strongly recommend this place for any one who loves a victorian style grandeur.

We stayed in the Heritage Suite, which is absolutely beautiful with its four-poster bed, fireplace and seating area, spa bathtub, and - most charmingly - its own veranda with seating for reading plus table and chairs for dining. We loved feeling tucked away in this beautiful room with its private outdoor space for the duration of our stay. Our hosts, Phil and Merryl, did everything they could to ensure a 5-star experience for us. Knowing it was a special birthday for me, they gave us a bottle of wine and brought us strawberries and chocolate later that evening. The following morning, our pre-ordered breakfast arrived on a cart outside our door with everything served in silver. It felt so lush, luxurious, and 'old world' as we ate our breakfast on the veranda.
