Guest Suites

Bli Bli House has six elegantly furnished guest suits, all with distinct characteristics that reflect an authentic mix of a bygone era coupled with the convenience of contemporary elements. Each room has a distinctive design and décor, celebrating a part of the luxurious Victorian era in which the house was originally built. All accommodation rooms are luxurious with fabulous imported fabrics, various antiques, four poster hand carved beds, Victorian fireplaces and personalised kitchenettes with your own Nespresso coffee machine.

Included in the room rates is your buffet and fully cooked breakfasts selected from our a la carte breakfast menu, unlimited access to our sweets trolley, all the tea and coffee you can drink, free chips and biscuits in each suite and a beautiful relaxing feeling in the midst of our Victorian elegance.

The Heritage Suite

The epitome of grand living at Bli Bli House is found within the comfort of the Heritage suite, an elegantly themed suite commanding a corner of the guest wing of the house, whose centre piece is a king four poster hand carved bed facing across from the Victorian fireplace and kitchenette. Luxurious furnishings upholstered in traditional burgundy, gold and tan fabrics complete the look. On one side French doors lead to the private balcony overlooking the riverfront and wedding chapel while on the other, is a luxurious bathroom complete with spa bath, and marble vanity unit. A complete experience of Victorian elegance!

The Victorian Suite

Set in a bygone era the Victorian suite lives up to its name with its rich gold, brown and tan furnishings and full length silk curtaining, our guests enjoy the luxury of one of history’s most elegant eras.

The hand carved four poster king bed in the centre piece of the room with the Victorian fireplace and kitchenette at one end with the French glass door opening onto the private balcony with commanding views of the river and nearby cane land.

The large ensuite boasts a double spa and a specially imported marble and mahogany estate vanity unit and matching mirrors. French glass shutters open the spa onto the main room.

The Regency Suite

This suite celebrates a traditional heritage theme with its rich burgundy curtains and lush double sofa. The 14 foot ceilings evoke the original character of the room which is enhanced with the antique cornice and chandelier.

The French doors open onto the private balcony with views overlooking the river and cane lands. The four poster hand carved king bed with matching dressing table is the centre piece to the room.

At one end is the Victorian fireplace, table setting and kitchenette and on the other is the bathroom with its rich “estate” marble and mahogany vanity unit and double spa bath and separate shower.

The Balmoral Suite

Located within the original building dating back to 1874, the Balmoral room epitomises the Victorian theme that gives Bli Bli House its unique character.

Settled in history, steeped in modern conveniences and enhanced with lush furnishings, the Balmoral room instantly takes our guests back into the elegance of the bygone Victorian era.

The four poster hand carved king bed, 14 foot ceilings, historic cornices, the Victorian fireplace, the antique writing desk, the small kitchen and the private balcony overlooking the river are sure to make your stay an experience to remember.

The Kensington Suite

Located towards the front of the guest wing of the main house this suite has its own private entrance.

Decorated with rich Axminster carpet and long flowing drapes the main décor of this suite displays reds, gold and a touch of charcoal. Antique chairs and a Victorian fireplace add to the ambience along with the hand carved four poster queen bed in the centre of the room.

Through the double doors the bathroom exudes elegance with its claw bath and imported “estate” marble and mahogany vanity unit. The kitchenette and the small dining table are nestled toward one end of this rich warm elegant suite.

The Windsor Suite

Located within the original building next to the chandelier dining room and dating back to 1874, the Windsor room epitomises the Victorian theme that gives Bli Bli House its unique character.

Settled in history, steeped in modern conveniences and enhanced with lush furnishings, the Windsor room instantly takes our guests back into the elegance of the bygone Victorian era.

The Guest Cottage

Our guest cottage is located separate from the main building and overlooks a picturesque sweeping bend on the river. The cottage is completely self-contained with its own kitchen and lounge and has a main bedroom with a small second bedroom.

Decorated with the same Victorian style as the house. The cottage is unique with its four poster queen bed in the main bedroom, an antique lounge in front of a small fireplace. The main doors open onto a full-length verandah where guests can sit and enjoy the sites of the river and surrounding trees.

It has its own bathroom and small laundry and parking spaces right outside the front door. Guests must contact us direct to book the cottage.
