Merryl is a very kind and welcoming host. Phil was away but I had corresponded with him by emails regarding meals previously to our stay and he was very accommodating.
We would definitely like to go back again. We felt very refreshed and relaxed even though we were only had a short stay.

We had tried calling a number of places that either didn’t answer or couldn’t... read more help, but just after 10pm we got through to Phil and Merryl who offered a room waited up for us. They even drove us to the airport in the morning when our taxi got stuck behind flood waters so that we wouldn’t miss the rescheduled flight! I was so in love with the vintage furniture and really enjoyed the view of the garden and river, outside was so nice and pretty and looked after very well. Great attention to detail and a lot of thought put in for your stay at Bli Bli Riverside Retreat. From a beautiful welcome letter and flowers, to treats and a bar fridge that had the necessities, and it was all free. A hot breakfast each morning and it was beautifully cooked and well presented. We are very pleased with our experience and will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast and really think you won't regret giving it a try and staying here! Rooms are tastefully furnished in Victorian style, lovely... read more antiques, breakfast on a trolley, silver service, spacious rooms, beautifully clean and lovely little touches of hospitality such as a stocked sweets trolley with cakes, biscuits and lollies. Breakfast was delicious, and very ample, with cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, and a choice of cooked. We were treated so very well.

The... read more massive four poster bed was luxuriously comfortable and the spa bath was the perfect size for two. We chose the romance package that included strawberries and champagne.
The House has lovely touches like a sweets bar and espresso machine in the common area. Unfortunately due to the changing nature of COVID restrictions the dining room was closed. Breakfast in our room each day was sensational. I highly recommend the crepes.
There are plenty of dining options nearby in Maroochydore, only a 10 minute drive away.
The hosts are lovely people. They have created a warm and tranquil escape for couples looking for romance.
