The decor is divine, furnished... read more and designed to resemble a victorian property sending you back in time to relax and unwind. Phil and Merryl are fantastic. Merryl gave us a lovely warm welcome telling us the history of the house and even a couple of treats from the sweets cart. We had a beautiful spacious room, very comfortable bed, a large veranda overlooking the river and a nice hot spa bath.

Breakfast was delicious, we will definitely be back longer than one night. The perfect place for a romantic getaway. Thank you.

There is a public lounge,dining room,reading room ,dining room and games room,all attractive.
The hosts are kind and obliging and a real pleasure to know.The breakfasts are superb and delivered to the room.Dinner is served in a dining room which was graced by a real fire in it’s fireplace when we dined.
The premises are designed well and everything within is of quality.It is scrupulously well maintained and clean.Bli Bli house in my opinion sets the highest standard and one which all Queensland hospitaliers would do well to emulate.

Plenty to do and see around and in the property. Make sure you leave a few hours to explore !
Check-in and out were relaxed, and we throughly enjoyed the time there.

From start to finish, I felt so relaxed and pampered at the Bli Bli House. We stayed in the Heritage Suite, which is absolutely beautiful with its four-poster bed, fireplace and seating area, spa bathtub, and - most charmingly - its own veranda with seating for reading plus table and chairs for dining. We loved feeling tucked away in this beautiful room with its private outdoor space for the duration of our stay. Our hosts, Phil and Merryl, did everything they could to ensure a 5-star experience for us. Knowing it was a special birthday for me, they gave us a bottle of wine and brought us strawberries and chocolate later that evening. The following morning, our pre-ordered breakfast arrived on a cart outside our door with everything served in silver. It felt so lush, luxurious, and 'old world' as we ate our breakfast on the veranda. I have lived in Australia for ten years (I'm originally from the US) and have honestly never experienced this level of thoughtful hospitality and service at another establishment. Every tiny detail has been thought through: provided snacks and sneaky treats, to bath salts and all toiletries. It’s easy to just spend all your time in the room, relaxing in the deep spa tub or watching the sunset from the private balcony, hanging out on the super comfy couch by the fire or in the super comfy bed. Breakfast was first class and absolutely delicious too. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back for more luxurious time out. More
