We were given a tour of the retreat before being shown to our luxurious suite. We loved that we could roam around the house and enjoy the sweet trolley, coffee/tea and the pool room. We didn't have time to use the media room/home theatre but will use it next time. Our suite was absolutely beautiful! It was opulent and regal with a four post bed, double sofa, small kitchenette, slippers and robes, ensuite with double spa bath and separate shower and french doors that led onto our own private balcony with beautiful views. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne and strawberries before settling in for the night. The bed was very very comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. We handed in our breakfast choices the night before and received a text message in the morning to inform us that our breakfast trolley was ready and outside our door. The breakfast was beautifully prepared and very well cooked. We enjoyed a hot breakfast with fresh coffee and pastries. The only thing we regretted was only staying one night.   Our flight was diverted due to bad weather and we were stranded with nowhere to stay. We had tried calling a number of places that either didn’t answer or couldn’t... read more help, but just after 10pm we got through to Phil and Merryl who offered a room waited up for us. They even drove us to the airport in the morning when our taxi got stuck behind flood waters so that we wouldn’t miss the rescheduled flight! On top of that, the bed was really comfy and the breakfast was tasty. Thank you so much!

Plush hallways and other cosy sitting areas provide many options to relax and relish the experience whilst enjoying the coffee, tea, pastries and fudge supplied in abundance.
The included breakfast was scrumptious, ample and served with class.
Phil and Merryl were the consummate hosts and couldn't have done more to make our stay so enjoyable.
We can't recommend Bli Bli House enough and will definitely stay for longer next time!!

From start to finish, I felt so relaxed and pampered at the Bli Bli House. We stayed in the Heritage Suite, which is absolutely beautiful with its four-poster bed, fireplace and seating area, spa bathtub, and - most charmingly - its own veranda with seating for reading plus table and chairs for dining. We loved feeling tucked away in this beautiful room with its private outdoor space for the duration of our stay. Our hosts, Phil and Merryl, did everything they could to ensure a 5-star experience for us. Knowing it was a special birthday for me, they gave us a bottle of wine and brought us strawberries and chocolate later that evening. The following morning, our pre-ordered breakfast arrived on a cart outside our door with everything served in silver. It felt so lush, luxurious, and 'old world' as we ate our breakfast on the veranda. I have lived in Australia for ten years (I'm originally from the US) and have honestly never experienced this level of thoughtful hospitality and service at another establishment.   We have stayed at many hotels and B&Bs all over the world, and without doubt Bli Bli House ranks amongst the best. We had no idea what awaited us... read more as our accommodation had been booked last minute on our behalf. It was a very pleasant surprise from start to finish, with unexpected thoughtful touches all throughout our stay. Our room was beautifully clean and the breakfast (which arrived at our door on time) was wonderful. The location is very convenient and we enjoyed exploring the grounds and new boardwalk along the river. Our only issue was a bit of traffic noise, but other rooms probably did not experience that to the same degree. Highly recommended, and we would stay there again. More

An absolutely beautiful location on the riverside adds additional joy to a fantastic stay. Wonderful morning breakfast brought to our room and the broader amenities were well beyond our expectation. Comfy warm bed, and room the amenities, large outside balcony and space are outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We have booked already for a future weekend stay and looking forward to it. Meryl greeted us personally, checked us in and showed us around.... read more She is the sweetest. The rooms are gorgeous, super comfortable, and so luxurious with high quality furniture. Every tiny detail has been thought through: provided snacks and sneaky treats, to bath salts and all toiletries. It’s easy to just spend all your time in the room, relaxing in the deep spa tub or watching the sunset from the private balcony, hanging out on the super comfy couch by the fire or in the super comfy bed. Breakfast was first class and absolutely delicious too. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back for more luxurious time out. More
