Merryl is a very kind and welcoming host. Phil was away but I had corresponded with him by emails regarding meals previously to our stay and he was very accommodating.
We would definitely like to go back again. We felt very refreshed and relaxed even though we were only had a short stay.

Every tiny detail has been thought through: provided snacks and sneaky treats, to bath salts and all toiletries. It’s easy to just spend all your time in the room, relaxing in the deep spa tub or watching the sunset from the private balcony, hanging out on the super comfy couch by the fire or in the super comfy bed. The owners, Phil and Merryl, have obviously put their heart and soul into developing this place, with charm and Victorian elegance in every feature. Check out their website for photos, I couldn’t do it justice but trying to describe it, but suffice to say that when you see it in person, you’ll agree that the atmosphere can’t be conveyed with a few pictures. Everything from the warm friendly welcome from the hosts to the the exquisite rooms, beautiful gardens and delicious breakfasts. We were so taken with our first visit we booked almost the entire place for our second visit and brought a group of friends with us.
