WOW! What a surprise, this was the best part of our holiday.

Elegantly furnished guest lounge with complimentary cakes and sweets and a chess set (we had a couple of games) Upstairs was the games room with old world charm and even a mini grand piano at the entrance of the house. The suite was beautifully furnished with a large four poster bed with the softest sheets, a kitchenette and even a fireplace The host’s Phil and Merryl were very welcoming and the house was luxurious and extremely clean. The special little treats and delicious cooked breakfast was brought to us on a silver trolley which made us feel like VIP’s. We have stayed in many B&B’s and hotels around the world and this would have to have been the most beautiful. We absolutely love Bli Bli house and will be back, to be spoilt once again. More

Merryl gave us a lovely warm welcome telling us the history of the house and even a couple of treats from the sweets cart. We had a beautiful spacious room, very comfortable bed, a large veranda overlooking the river and a nice hot spa bath.

Breakfast was delicious, we will definitely be back longer than one night. The perfect place for a romantic getaway. Thank you.

Coming up from Brisbane, we paired the stay at this beautiful accommodation with reservations... read more at the equally gorgeous Spirit House restaurant the next day, which is a mere 15-minute drive away. From start to finish, I felt so relaxed and pampered at the Bli Bli House. We stayed in the Heritage Suite, which is absolutely beautiful with its four-poster bed, fireplace and seating area, spa bathtub, and - most charmingly - its own veranda with seating for reading plus table and chairs for dining. We loved feeling tucked away in this beautiful room with its private outdoor space for the duration of our stay. Our hosts, Phil and Merryl, did everything they could to ensure a 5-star experience for us. Knowing it was a special birthday for me, they gave us a bottle of wine and brought us strawberries and chocolate later that evening. The following morning, our pre-ordered breakfast arrived on a cart outside our door with everything served in silver. It felt so lush, luxurious, and 'old world' as we ate our breakfast on the veranda. I have lived in Australia for ten years (I'm originally from the US) and have honestly never experienced this level of thoughtful hospitality and service at another establishment. Plenty to do and see around and in the property. Make sure you leave a few hours to explore !
Check-in and out were relaxed, and we throughly enjoyed the time there.
