We had tried calling a number of places that either didn’t answer or couldn’t... read more help, but just after 10pm we got through to Phil and Merryl who offered a room waited up for us. They even drove us to the airport in the morning when our taxi got stuck behind flood waters so that we wouldn’t miss the rescheduled flight! Walking around the rooms freely - you’ll find a library - pool table and a media room with a projector. A candy trolly that’s always full. Many antiques and vintage paraphernalia throughout. The rooms are beautiful and the beds super comfy. Strawberries & Chocolate left as a surprise at our door. It’s all about the little touches.
There are plenty of places to dine close buy - Teppanyaki was a favourite.
Meryl and Phil are incredibly Host.
