  If you want to step back in time then Bli Bli House is the perfect stay as we found out. Our hosts have an eye to please their guests... read more in their idyllic setting on the banks of Petrie creek. Despite the wet weather we had no real reason to leave our comfortable surrounds and enjoyed time looking at the views from our own private veranda. A great range to chose from on the breakfast menu which was delivered to our room each morning. The touching surprise was the silver plate with two forks, sliced strawberries, dipping chocolate sauce and two red heart chocolates waiting on our arrival back from dinner. The only disappointment was it didn't happen the second night when we were so looking forward to this special treat. A memorable stay for our 47th anniversary surrounded by delightful décor that certainly added charm and elegance. Worthy of giving this accommodation 5 stars. More

From start to finish, I felt so relaxed and pampered at the Bli Bli House. We stayed in the Heritage Suite, which is absolutely beautiful with its four-poster bed, fireplace and seating area, spa bathtub, and - most charmingly - its own veranda with seating for reading plus table and chairs for dining. We loved feeling tucked away in this beautiful room with its private outdoor space for the duration of our stay. Our hosts, Phil and Merryl, did everything they could to ensure a 5-star experience for us. Knowing it was a special birthday for me, they gave us a bottle of wine and brought us strawberries and chocolate later that evening. The following morning, our pre-ordered breakfast arrived on a cart outside our door with everything served in silver. It felt so lush, luxurious, and 'old world' as we ate our breakfast on the veranda. Not only was it a perfect escape, everything was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Sadly, I did not get to meet Phil but Merryl was one of the kindest people I've ever met, and the complimentary snacks added so much to the stay! Overall, the perfect relaxing escape!
